World Series Fan Find of the Day – Yankees Stadium – Lobel’s

Eating and Drinking Well at Yankee Stadium

Here’s today’s World Series Fan Find of the Day

The New York Yankees lead the ALDS 2-1 over the Baltimore Orioles heading into tonight’s match up at Yankee Stadium.  If you’re going to the game, prepare to be a part of either one of the best experiences of your life (Yankee fan) or one of the worst (Orioles fan). The home town fans can be brutal. Regardless of which way you lean, you’ll all have one thing in common: you’re going to spend some serious dough.

By our stadium tour comparison, Yankee Stadium has the most expensive concessions and beer anywhere. It’s also some of the best, and if you’re going to spend a lot of money, you may as well spend it wisely.

Here’s my tip: Head on over to Section 134 early to Lobel’s carved steak sandwiches. There will be a line – a long one – and be ready to shell out $15 for this hunk of hand carved heaven. Even if your team loses, this will be one positive memory to take home. It truly is worth the wait.

I strongly urge to you visit the Yankee Museum. Even this die-hard Red Sox fan was impressed by the amount of historic game balls, bats, trophies, and uniforms in such a small space. If you ever needed reminding just how great of a team and organization the Yankees really are, this museum is an in-yo-face, Who’s Your Daddy alarm. The museum can be found midway up the “All Other Levels” ramp. Don’t be intimidated by the line, it moves pretty fast.
