By Kaylyn Thornal, Ballpark Food & Beverage Connoisseur

The New York Yankees may see their 2012 World Series fate ended today by the Detroit Tigers. It would be a glorious nail in the coffin to a sparkling season, one that saw Tiger’s third baseman Miguel Cabrera take home the Triple Crown. So if you’re rolling up to the stadium or looking for last minute ideas to watch the game in Tiger Town, here’s our World Series Fan Find of the Day: Harry’s Bar and Grill.

We highlight Harry’s today as one of the great places to go before the game because they offer FREE PARKING and a FREE SHUTTLE to and from the game. Yep, you just saved yourself $30 and a lot of headache in and out of the park.

“Pros: good food, free parking, good bar, shuttle service to events is free. Cons: shotty service – especially on game days/nights,  i have never seen them offer a drink special, appetizer menu is lacking”

“Harry’s is a must-stop spot on a warm summer’s day when the Tigers are playing.  They draw huge sports crowds – you can barely walk through the place on opening day”
