Best Eats and Drinks San Francicos Giants vs Detroit Tigers Game 1

Game 1 of the World Series 2012 is tonight in San Francisco with the Giants hosting the Detroit Tigers. If you’re in town you’ll be looking for all sorts of things to do. Get there early and check out the sights from the right field wall.
Today’s World Series Fan Find of the Day in San Francisco is Pete’s Tavern.
Just a stone’s throw from the park, it’s a great place to set the mood for World Series game 1. According to their website “Pete’s Tavern is a 20,000 square-foot behemoth of a sports bar, with a mezzanine level that overlooks AT&T park.” It’s true. This is a great place to head before the Giants game. You might be sneered at if you’re wearing Tiger’s colors, but SF loves baseball and are cordial fans. It’s all about the competition, and of course, the Giants.
Recommended Food: The Carolina Pulled Pork Sliders.
Recommended Beer: Speakeasy Prohibition Ale, San Francisco. Tasting Notes: Amber color. Caramel notes and citrusy hops in aroma. Balance between malt and hop on palate with a clean hoppy finish. Perfect for a fall day in San Francisco
