Giants vs Rockies at AT&T PARK, SAN FRANCISCO CA

Inside The Park:

AT&T Park is one of the nicest, with amazing views from the upper deck of the bay and the bridge. It also has some of the best and most versatile food and beer. The worlds largest baseball glove is just behind left field and there is a Coca-cola giant bottle slide behind the outfield wall.  Take a walk and look at the bay and a piece of history over the right field wall where countless home runs have sailed.

A nice thing about this park that you can’t always find anymore is the ability to exit and re-enter, just make sure to get your hand stamped before you leave.

Food and Drink:

Named one of the most vegetarian friendly ballparks offering garden burgers, vegetarian sushi, portobello-mushroom sandwiches, vegetable burritos and tamales, and more. Check out any Derby Grill for veggie dogs, and Say Hey! Sausage Specialties also has terrific veggie dogs as well as some great meat-filled dogs too. For Hebrew National Hot Dogs head to Section 112 – you can get them Chicago, Coney Island, or San Francisco style.

One must-try item at AT&T is Gilroy Garlic Fries  - there’s more than a few stands around, and you won’t be sorry. Your breath may not be the best after eating them, but it’ll be worth it. The best concentration of top-notch San Francisco concessions are on the Promenade Level in Center Field, so swing by and take your pick. We like Crazy Crab’z  for a sourdough crab sandwich and Orlando’s Caribbean BBQ for their Cha-Cha Bowl and a Tecate Beer.

Many of the stand alone beer carts will have options like Anchor Steam and Sierra Nevada. The best concentration of good beer will be on the Promenade (lower) level behind sections 112 and 119. You could grab a Mirror Pond or a Prohibition – hard to find these beers elsewhere.

On the main concourse level you’ll find a handful of decent brews behind the scoreboard in both the hotdog windows and stand alone beer carts. Murph’s Irish Pub (one on each level) serves up Harp, Guinness, and Smithwick’s on draft along with some decent pub fare like Fish and Chips and Irish Nachos.

New to 2012: a new Anchor Brewing Bar has been added behind the center field scoreboard.

Wi-Fi:
The entire stadium is Wi-Fi accessible so link your mobile device to the Giant’s Wi-Fi line to get the most out of Fanzooloo.
