1. Big Ass Trade! The Dodgers trade to get Adrian Gonzoles, Josh Beckett, Carl Crawford and Nick Punto from the Red Sox in order to make big moves to make the playoffs. The Red Sox get…ah it doesn’t really matter does it? Josh Beckett is scheduled to start tonight against the Rockies.

Win: Dodgers Fans. Lose: Red Sox Nation.

2. Delay. The US Open begins today in New York, however play is suspended due to rain. Serena Williams who has had some tumultuous umpire arguments on center court at the open, is looking for an Olympic gold repeat. For all information on the US Open go here: US OPEN Official Site

3. Rocket Man. Roger Clemens. 50-year-old Roger Clemens came out of retirement and started for the Triple – A Skeeters Saturday night in Sugar Land, Tx. Clemens went nearly 3 1/3 scoreless innings.

“He did better than I expected,” said Gilbert Rodriguez, a former Army ranger who has season tickets behind home plate. “Poor thing. He looked like he got tired.”
