The Arena and Neighborhood:
Open since 1991, EnergySolutions Arena (formerly Delta Center) sits just west of downtown Salt Lake City near the Convention Center, historic Temple Square, The Gateway (an outdoor shopping and dining area), and many other local restaurants. Bars might be harder to come by than in other cities due to SLC's large Mormon population, but on the plus side, you're less likely to encounter overly-drunk, too-rowdy fans at the game.
For some specific pre or post game recommendations within a half mile from the arena be sure to check out our "Before & After the Game" section.
Getting There/Parking:
Located right near the freeway where I-80 meets I-15, driving there is very easy. From I-15 take 600 (north or south depending on direction) off ramp. There are several public parking lots located near the arena, many of them very affordable. If you arrive early enough, it's possible to find free street parking.
Public Transportation:
The city's Light Rail system (TRAX) is a great way to get there too. At $2.25 on-way, TRAX has a stop across the street on South Temple on the Blue and Green lines. For more info: http://www.rideuta.com/mc/?page=UTA-Home-TRAX
