The Stadium and Neighborhood:
Wells Fargo Center is part of the massive sports complex that includes the Phillies' Citizens Bank Park as well as the Eagles' Lincoln Financial Field. The stadium is right off I-95, more than a few miles south of downtown Philadelphia. It is also the home to NBA's 76ers as well as the Lacrosse team and Arena Football team.
Before the game, you'll find The Bud Light Block Party on the 11th Street side of the Center. It's a pre-game tailgate partywith live music, food and drink, and is open to all ticket holders 3 hours before tip off.
There's not much in the immediate area for pre or post game food and drink. Your best bet is to take the metro (or drive) up Broad Street, and you can check our "Before & After the Game" map for specific suggestions and read below for public tranpo details. The best cheesesteak nearby? Probably Tony Luke's on E. Oregon Ave just a couple miles away.
Parking:
The Center is surrounded by plenty of parking lots and can be fairly inexpensive (we've seen as low as $5 for low profile games) but if you really want, you can find free street parking in the area, most likely on Lawrence Street, just a few blocks east of the stadium. Arrive early to grab a spot! Public Transportation:
The AT&T Metro stop at Pattison & Broad at the end of the Broad Street line is very convenient. Again, there aren't a ton of great bars and restaurants in the neighborhood so if you're from out of town, consider taking the Broad Street line into Center City where you will have plenty of post-game options for food and booze. Be sure to check our map for some suggestions - there are a few near Center City that we like - just 6 or so stops up on the subway.
