Inside The Stadium:
There's plenty for young fans at this stadium. There's the Panthers Lair near the South Gate and East Gate where you'll find penty of free pregame activities like face painting and interactive games. While your kids play, you can get autographs from the TopCats, the Panther cheerleaders at the Panthers Lair. There's also Sir Purr's Play Den on the 100 Level near Section 138 for kids.
There are a few club inside with great food and full bars, but they're all private, and access requires a membership. The suites are, of course, amazing - offering great views and service. Many stadiums and ballparks have similar venues or sit down restaurants inside that are open to all ticket holders, but there isn't much going on for the regular fan here.
The good news: the facility is clean and safe, the fans are generally very polite, and you can find tickets that won't break your bank. For an older stadium, it's held up pretty well.
Food and Drink:
There's not a lot that's notable in regards to regular concessions. The stadium "boasts" 429 concession stands, but most are serving up pretty mediocre standard fare. Our suggestion would be to try some real Carolina BBQ at a BBQ Shack stand. If you're an out-of-towner really the only thing you should be eating at this stadium is the BBQ, as that's what the area is known for. Can't go wrong with some Pulled Pork or BBQ Nachos. There are also some Southern fast food chains inside like Popeye's and Bojangles.
The beer selection is actually really good with options like local SC Doubloon Double Pale Ale. Look for the Carolina Ale stand on the upper level for various local brews. You can also find imports like Stella Artois without looking too hard.
